The Final Word Supersedes Opinions

Do you understand who is the Final Word?

Imagine sitting in a large conference room having a group discussion. The people are very passionate. Everyone wants to express his or her point of view. But, what about this? Or, what about that? Well, this is how I see it.

Suddenly, the most glorious man walks into the room. Cool, calm, collected. Blazing blinding light everywhere. Mouths drop open; laptops shut down; faces are aghast. Freeze frame!

That’s what it is like when the Final Word enters a room. No smug, self-absorbed opinion can stand in His presence. No big U’s and little i’s. Everything naked and exposed for what it is.

Do you understand that in the end, your opinion does not matter? That’s because, in eternity, the eternal Final Word spoke. Settled everything—forever!  Believe it or not.

Who is the Final Word?

JESUS CHRIST is God’s final Word.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending,” says the Lord, “which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Rev 1:8)

Christ is the Eternal Word of God who became flesh and dwelt among us. He came to set us free from the works of the devil. And He died on the cross for everyone’s sins. Victorious Savior of the world is resurrected and ascended to the Father’s right hand. He has all authority in heaven and earth. Receive Him and receive eternal life.

[Jn 1:1-4, 14, 1 Jn 3:8, Acts 4:12, Mt 28:20, Heb 1:3, Ps 103:19, Phil 2:10-11, Jn 1:12]

Truth seekers shall know the truth. And, the truth you understand and apply shall make and keep you free. (See John 8:32)

Treasure Eternal Truth in Your Heart

Know that:

1. God is Greater than anything

2. All Things are Possible with God

possible

Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” (Mark 10:27)

Trust God Implicitly and Live by Faith

Have faith in God. (Mk 11:22)

Walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Cor 5:7)

To walk by faith means to trust God with all your heart and live according to the invisible reality of things, not the visible appearance of things.

Things that are seen don’t last forever, but things that are not seen are eternal. That’s why we keep our minds on the things that cannot be seen. (2 Cor 4:18, CEV)

The Lord is the Final Word. In eternity before He created the world, the Lord won the victory for us.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Cor 15:58, CSB)

Now thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ and makes manifest the savor of His knowledge in every place. (2 Cor. 2:14)
