A few years ago, my daughter called me a fearless action figure.

I chuckled at that because I wasn’t always fearless. I grew up feeling insecure, timid, and fearful. From age 5 to 15, I suffered emotional and mental abuse and physical beatings from my stepfather. These experiences left deep scars, and a dark cloud hung over me for years.

But, in January 1982, a profound change occurred. I rededicated my life to the Lord and forgave my stepfather. Miraculously, the nightmares ended, replaced by beautiful visions and dreams from the Lord.

During this transformative time, I discovered that God did not give us a spirit of fear but miraculous power, love, and a sound mind – 2 Timothy 1:7. This revelation exploded within me. God’s power and love changed me as I devoured and applied the Scriptures to my life. I went from fearful to fearless, rejected to loved and accepted, and victim to victorious.  

For over 35 years, I have ministered to women at conferences, Bible study fellowships, and one-on-one to transform lives through the richness of God’s infallible Word, His infinite love, and the inexhaustible power inherent in Christ.
