How to Keep Winning the Most Significant War
While there are wars and warfare threats worldwide, the most significant war is spiritual, constant, and affects every person on the planet.
The enemy of the entire human race operates from the invisible realm to try to control people and policies in the visible domain. His goal is to destroy whatever is good, godly, and glorious.
Once beautiful and anointed, this rebel—the prince of darkness, the devil called Satan—is super warped and delusional. He thinks the world and its people are his. [Hint: People who treat other people as if they owned them have the mind of the devil.]
The devil is your enemy. He will rip you off, lie to you, and try to kill you. Countless millions have suffered, died, and gone to hell believing the devil’s lies.
Good news! Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, the Life. He came from heaven to set us free from the works of the devil. Jesus overcame the world and the devil for us. And He has all authority in heaven and earth.
If you are in union with Christ and know who He is, who you are, what you have, and what you can do through Christ, the devil is no match for you!
Habits to Keep Winning the Most Significant War
The key to keep winning the most significant war is to keep your eyes on Christ and His victory. Besides that, here are five habits you can develop to stay on top.
1. Daily declare the whole armor that God provides.
Every day before you get out of bed, affirm the whole armor of God. Declare what it represents. The armor of truth, righteousness, peace, salvation, faith, and the Word of God protects us from the enemy of our soul and keeps us prepared for anything.
2. Pray in the Spirit.
What does it mean to pray in the spirit?
- Let the Holy Spirit lead you in prayer.
- Pray from your innermost being, not your natural thinking.
- Pray in the languages given by the Holy Spirit.
Praying in the spirit will build up and recharge your innermost self. You will find tremendous strength, inner resolve, joy, love, peace, and patience to face whatever may come your way.
3. Keep your spiritual liberty.
Liberty means freedom. Christ set us free from the devil. Take charge. Do not let anyone or anything control you or bring you into bondage.
Stand fast therefore in the liberty for which Christ has made us free; and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage (Gal 5:1).
4. Speak out the Spirit-anointed Word over life’s circumstances.
God’s Word is the power of His kingdom. The Word of God gives substance or materiality to our hopes. God intends for us to lay hold to His promises. So, declare and decree God’s promise-filled Word over every situation.

5. Live daily by faith through God’s amazing grace.
Remember, people of genuine faith:
- take God at His Word
- say the same things God says
- act in Agreement with God’s Word.
Friends, Christ has already won the war. We keep winning through faith in Him.
