Did you know that the co-creator of the universe dwells in and provides God-inside power to every born-again child of God? That’s right. If you have received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, the eternal Spirit of God—co-creator of the universe—lives in you! And your spirit is now the hub of God’s activity in your life.

Moving from Unsettled to Thrilled

When I first heard that the eternal Spirit of God lived inside my spirit, I found this truth more unsettling than fantastic. No disrespect meant, but I felt like someone was spying on me, watching my every move.

Then, I began to read Scriptures that softened my heart and left me amazed and undone, such as:

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” ~ 1 Cor 2:12

God has given us the Holy Spirit to reveal what He has freely given us in Christ.

However, the Bible says that the carnally minded or flesh-ruled person does not receive the things of the Spirit of God. Neither does the soulish or sense-ruled person.

The more I read the Scriptures, the more I realized God’s great love. He wanted us to know the great things He freely gave us.

7 Ways the Holy Spirit Your God-Inside Power Helps You

The Holy Spirit – – The Divine Helper – Your Comforter will give you supernatural and practical help in your daily life, just as Jesus did when He lived among His disciples. (Jn 14:26)

1. Holy Spirit – the eternal Spirit of Truth – bears witness with your spirit that you are a child of God. He will lead you into all truth. He affirms God’s Word’s authenticity, integrity, and truth. (Jn 16:13, 1 Jn 2:27, Rom 8:16; 1 Jn 2:20)
2. The Spirit of Might, God-Inside Power, will strengthen your inner person with miraculous power. (Eph 3:16)
3. The Same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead will revive and revitalize your spirit, soul, and body. (Rom 8:11)
4. He will help you pray more effectively. (Rom 8:26)
5. The Holy Spirit will help you worship God in spirit and truth. (John 4:23-34)
6. The Holy Spirit will help you walk in liberty (2 Cor 3:17)
7. He will help you reign in life. (Rom 5:17)

What Happens When God-Inside Power Prevails in You?

God can do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, measured by the power that works in us.

You can overcome anything when you discover and live from God-Inside power.

I pray His Spirit works mightily in you, infusing you with strength and miracle-working power for every good work. May God’s richest blessings be yours.
