Reasons I love Israel

I really love Israel and its people. I only visited there one time 30 years ago. Yet, I can remember the amazing sense of grace, peace and sense of being home. When I shared this with some Jewish friends who had never been to Israel, they thought I was a bit mashugana.
There are many reasons I love Israel. Here are 5 reasons I love Israel.
5 Reasons I love Israel
| 1. Through the Hebrew people comes the revelation of the one true God. Without Israel, I would not know the one true God who revealed Himself to the Hebrew fathers. | |

| 2. Because of the faithfulness of the Hebrews to preserve the divinely inspired Scriptures, I now possess the Word of God. Because I have God’s Word, I have come to understand God’s will, His way, His love, and His plan of salvation available to whoever will receive it. | |
| 3. Salvation comes through the Jews. Through the Scriptures, I have received the revelation of Yeshua Ha Mashiach, Jesus the Messiah (the Christ), the Son of the Living God. | |
| 4. Without Israel, I would not know the righteousness and holiness of God. If it were not for the law given through Moses, I would not know the righteousness and holiness of God. | |
| 5. I can see God’s faithfulness to His covenant people. After 2500 years of being scattered throughout the earth, the Jews have miraculously been brought back to Israel through God’s providence. (See Isa 11:12; Ezek 36:8-13) | |

Prayer for Israel
May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces. For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good. —Ps 122:6-9
