One Cure for Disease

My heart goes out to people everywhere who suffer from sickness and disease. What if you discovered that there is one cure for all disease? What if you found out that suffering from sickness and disease is not the will of God? What if you could begin your road to recovery today through a simple act of faith?
I am blessed to have lived for decades without being sick. On rare occasion, when I let myself get run down, I have succumbed to a cold or the flu. Even then, I usually stay on my feet performing normal activities during the process of recovery.
When I went to Africa a few years ago, I had the required shots, but I did not take any medication for malaria. One night I took off the bed net and was bitten by mosquitoes. I sweat all night—my clothes and the bed sheets were soaked, but the fever broke by morning. I was miraculously healed.
Contributors to people getting sick
There are many contributors to people getting sick, including:
- Food and water. Ingesting devitalized, chemical-laden food, such as fruits and vegetables sprayed with pesticides. Meats full of hormones. Enzyme-destroying pasteurized and processed foods. Sugar laden, immune system destroying junk food. Water treated with all kinds of chemicals, or, conversely, untreated water full of foul bacteria.
- Not enough rest. Many people work around the clock. God’s plan is that we rest one day each week. (Gen 2:3) Without proper rest, one’s body does not have adequate time to repair.
- Drugs. An overzealous pharmaceutical industry produces and doctors prescribe chemically compounded drugs for everything. It is interesting to note that “pharmacy” comes from the Greek word pharmakeia (fär-mä-kā’-ä). It means magical arts, sorcery, witchcraft, poisoning.
Pharmaceutical companies make a fortune on prescription drugs that cost mere pennies per pill to produce. People are being medicated, but disease is not being eradicated. In many instances, over-the-counter and prescription drugs cause liver damage, kidney failure, strokes, heart attacks, and death.[1]
In America we have a government controlled healthcare system that leaves the very God who made us out of the equation. And, while I appreciate good, ethical, caring doctors, I am leery of being diagnosed and treated by anyone who swears an oath in the name of mythical Greek gods and goddesses.[2]
Nonetheless, human medicine does treat some conditions and helps to keep people alive. However, only divine medicine can completely cure a person from sickness and disease.
One Cure for Disease
The one cure for disease is not a pill. The cure is a Person—Jesus Christ.
Christ came into the world to save us. He gave his life on the cross to reconcile us with God and to restore us to wholeness. He took:
- spiritual torment for our sins
- mental distress for our worries and anxieties
- physical pain for our sickness and disease, and
- stripes for our healing (Isa 53:4-5)
Christ paid the price for us to be whole spirit, soul and body.
Today, why don’t you take a leap of faith towards God and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Healer. Now, be healed in the Name of Jesus!
Finally, do what wisdom and prudence demands to stay healthy.
- Eat nutrient rich food (fresh vegetables, fruit, raw seeds and nuts)
- Drink lots of pure water
- Get plenty of rest
- Get some fresh air
- Exercise
- Digest healthy portions of God’s Word every day—God’s Words are life to those who find them, and health (medicine) to all their flesh (Prov. 4:20-22)
- Speak words of life
- Praise God
- Be thankful always
- Be joyful
- Forgive freely
- Love lavishly
