3 Ways to Delegitimize Evil Works

Everything we see in the natural has a spiritual source or root, legitimate or illegitimate. Legitimate is that which is legal or lawful, genuine, real, proceeding from a pure source. Illegitimate is that which is illegal, lawless, fraudulent, corrupt.
Legitimate is marked by love, truth, righteousness, goodness, justice. Illegitimate is marked by evil, malignant, viciousness, tyranny and lawlessness.
If we want to see changes in our society, we must work to delegitimize evil works.
3 Ways to Delegitimize Evil Works
- Praise God Passionately
Fill the heavens with the high praises of God. Declare and decree the greatness and power of God.
When we wholeheartedly praise the Lord, powerful spiritual forces are released. Light, truth, and joy take over the atmosphere. Darkness flees. And yokes of oppression are broken off people’s lives.
- Pray Fervently and Frequently
Through faith-filled, heartfelt and fervent prayer, tremendous power is released to break through spiritual barriers, destroy demonic strongholds, and open doors of people’s hearts so God’s Word can enter and bring light and truth to set them free.
Pray for people, not against them. Pray for them to experience the forgiveness and grace of God.
“We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ.”—2 Cor 10:5 MSG
- Be a Light and Truth Bearer
Be a bearer and dispenser of light and truth according to the revelation of the Scriptures. Always stand on the side of what is morally right.
Speak the truth in love. Light will shatter spiritual strongholds and break yokes. It will release angels. It will dispel forces of darkness.

Let us wield every weapon spiritual weapon at our disposal to wage victorious warfare against forces of darkness and de-legitimize evil works.
