Victory Key: Word Up-Pt 1

Knowing, applying, speaking and acting on God’s Word is foundational to living in victory every day. It is the key to becoming established in truth.

No matter what seemingly insurmountable challenge you face, you can Word up, lay hold to God’s promises, break through the obstacles, stand your ground, and prevail.

God’s Word is alive and powerful

God’s Word is alive and powerful (divinely explosive). Inherent in God’s Word is supernatural, miraculous, life giving, situation changing power!

While there are many books that can stimulate our minds and creative imaginations and inspire and motivate us, there is only one book in the universe that has the power to raise the dead, open blind eyes, cause demons to flee, transform a sinner’s heart, and heal, deliver and restore broken, bruised and crushed people. That book is the Bible, the written Word of God, the revealed will of God.

The Bible reveals absolute truth, that is, truth from the divine perspective. It provides the keys to living an abundant, God-favored, victorious life.

Smith Wigglesworth said:

Never think or never say that this Book contains the Word of God. It is the Word of God. It is supernatural in origin, eternal in duration, inexpressible in value, infinite in scope, regenerative in power, infallible in authority, universal in interest, personal in application, inspired in totality. Read it through. Write it down. Pray it in. Work it out. And then pass it on. (Faith that Prevails, pp. 15-16)

The Word of God is incorruptible seed which lives and abides forever (1 Pet 1:23).
