Light and Darkness: Moral Clarity
Spiritually, there are only two kingdoms: Light and Darkness. These two kingdoms are diametrically opposed to one another.
| LIGHT illuminates, opens, looses, and sets free. | DARKNESS blinds, obscures, diminishes, and oppresses. |
| The Kingdom of Light is marked by love, truth, righteousness, goodness, justice. | The Kingdom of Darkness is marked by evil, malignant, vicious disposition and deeds, tyranny and lawlessness. |
| The Kingdom of Light is pro life—life begetting, promoting, sustaining. | The Kingdom of Darkness is pro death— life destroying. |
| Light is the kingdom of God. | Darkness is the kingdom of Satan. |
Hate and murder are spawned from the kingdom of darkness
No one walking in the light hates his brother. No one walking in light murders. Terrorists are barbaric murderers who walk in total darkness. God explains:
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him…. —Jn 8:44
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.—1 Jn 3:14
It is only the most grossly deceived person who believes that one day God will reward him for his dastardly deeds of torture, rape, and murder of people whom God created.
Moral Clarity—Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorists
Israel is fighting a defensive war. It is fighting against enemies who hate the Jews and want to exterminate them. Israel is fighting for its survival. Israel has every right to defend itself against maniacal terrorists who are trying to obliterate it.
The nation of Israel is about the size of New Jersey. It looks like a tiny speck on the map when compared to the nations surrounding it: Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. In fact, Israel’s population is less than one percent of the entire Islamic world.
Moral Clarity—stand up for what is right
Please take a stand for what is morally right. Pray for Israel, for wisdom and protection for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli government, military and their families, and the people of Israel.
Please also pray for the people of the Middle East to experience the love, light, truth, forgiveness, and grace of God.
Pray for God’s grace and peace to be multiplied to the persecuted Christians and other minorities. Pray that enlightened leaders around the world will extend a helping hand to promote what is right.
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.—1 John 1:5
