God Daily Loads You with Benefits
King David wrote: “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah” [Ps 68:19]
And:
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” He forgives all your sins, heals all your diseases, and redeems your life from destruction. He restores your soul, crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, and satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. [Ps 103:1-5]
And:
“What shall I render to the LORD for all His benefits toward me? I will take up the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the Lord.” [Psalm 116:12-13]
God Has Already Blessed Us in Christ
In the New Testament, we discover that God has blessed believers with a wealth of blessings and benefits in Christ.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. . . In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” [Eph 1:3, 7]
Ephesians 1:3 says to bless or speak well of the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because He has spoken well of, favored, and prospered us through Christ.
“Therefore, by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” (Heb 13:15)
So, never forget God daily loads you with benefits and has blessed us with a wealth of blessings in Christ.
