 Dreams Alive

The spirit of faith will keep your dreams alive.

How to Keep Dreams Alive

A generation is not defined by your age but by your spirit and attitude. Your generation includes everybody living in one’s lifetime. Today, a lifetime can be 100 years or more.

Older people: Stop believing the lie that growing old means being frail, lacking mobility, wearing diapers, being forgetful, and being lonely. There are people in their nineties who are healthy, have lots of energy, great wit, strong faith, and good friends.

Do not let your age keep you from pursuing your dreams and best life. So long as you are alive, you carry the dreams God put in your heart.

Young People, Pursue Your Dreams

Young people: keep your dreams alive and passionately pursue them. Pray. Seek godly counsel. Have faith. Work, and persevere!

Joseph was 17 years old when he received a God-given dream. He came from a dysfunctional family – his father had babies with four different women, and his brothers hated him because of his dreams.

Joseph spent years in a dark, dry dungeon for a crime he did not commit. He experienced hard-hearted people, disappointments, and delays. Yet, Joseph remained selfless and forgiving. He kept a spirit of faith and fulfilled his God-appointed destiny.

The spirit of faith will keep your dreams alive!

Get Rid of Limitations

Some people you know will try to limit you. They may try to get you to downsize your dream. Or, they may withhold support. They may not like you on Facebook.

Don’t let small-minded people deter you. People who try to impose their limited points of view on you are themselves under some bondage.

The bottom line, limitations are self-imposed. Break them off your life. Declare God’s prophetic Word in their place. Keep your dreams alive and say what God says about you and your future.

Remember, you are the only one who can stop you from successful outcomes.

So, keep dreaming big. Do something every day that moves you closer to your dream.

When you discover what you can do and what you must do, you are on your way to fulfilling your destiny.

  • Passion is what you must do
  • Ability is what you can do
  • Attitude and self-discipline determine what you will do

You will have the greatest joy and sense of victory when you follow your heart. Ultimately, you will do what you love and love what you do. A victorious state of mind awaits you. Go for it!

Like King David, when you keep your dreams alive, you can and will faithfully serve your generation by the will of God. (Acts 13:36) Stay encouraged!
